Our backbone infrastructure is built in direct response to customer requirements and service availability requirements. Our goal is to maintain a minimum uptime of 99.99% network wide in any given month. To achieve this, we combine redundancy in our core routing platform with careful selection of IP transit and private line carriers to make sure we can tolerate failures while minimizing downtime.

To provide a wide range of services, we have built our entire backbone utilizing MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) allowing us to offer services more diverse than simple IP transit products. These additional products include a full suite of point to point services. These innovative point to point services are primarily based around two types of service, both of which are carried over our MPLS backbone: Private IP VPNs and private line Ethernet.
